The International Center for Professional Development (ICPD) is a USA based non-profit organization. Our programs primarily benefit individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds by engaging students, industry executives and entrepreneurs in facilitated mentoring, peer learning, direct instruction and web-based resources.


ELISA offers opportunities to get involved with a highly impactful Africa focused event and gain exposure to our global network of industry leaders to network and share ideas for Business Beyond Borders.

On March 19, 2026 the ELISA Business Summit kicks off with a full day of sessions followed by the Enterprise Leaders & Innovators Dinner. Immediately after, from March 19-22, the 2026 ELISA Business Scholars Training Session will bring together a select cohort of high potential entrepreneurs, matched with seasoned business experts who serve as their coaches.

Gallus Academy schools will provide scholarships for economically disadvantaged students across Africa.

Each school features educational agricultural facilities, creates jobs and offers technical training programs for youth and adults during school breaks. We also develop high-quality teachers who mentor and strengthen teaching in nearby government schools.

The Scholar Mentoring & Development Program (SMDP) is a one year career mentoring program pairs students (Baccalaureate, Master or PhD) and early career researchers from disadvantaged backgrounds with industry mentors who work at companies in the medical technology, biotechnology and consumer healthcare industries.
